Tujuh orang terbunuh manakala 28 lagi cedera, termasuk 4 parah apabila bas persiaran yang membawa rombongan Wanita Umno Bahagian Kuala Kedah merempuh belakang sebuah lori di Plaza Tol Jelapang menghala ke selatan, awal pagi semalam,dipercayai akibat brek tidak berfungsi.
